Amfi aquires Rygge Storsenter

Olav Thon is not complete on shopping centers in Norway yet.

Subsidiary Amfi has now bought Rygge Storsenter, giving them a monopoly situation in Moss.

”There is hardly any reason to believe that the audience will notice that the center is in new hands,” says Lars Løseth at Amfi Group.

Moss Avis writes there is are no stressed plans to trim the total mall supply in Moss region.

”We note that Rygge storsenter is slightly different from the other two, but we relate to many long-term leases,” Lars Løseth tells Moss Avis.

He does not exclude that the centers eventually will be a somewhat get a more youthful profile than the others.

”Moss is challenging, we want use our position except to be aware of rivals in Varnaveien and downtown.”

But Moss city centre is struggling with many vacancies.

”We do not benefit by other than that it goes well with the center and will gladly contribute to the maintenance of vitality and innovations.
