Danish discount sites company declared bankrupt

The Danish online discount giant Dagens Bedste is declared bankrupt.

The bankruptcy comes after many complains from both customers and suppliers – making suppliers stop accepting vouchers that customers bought.

Dagens Bedste has been forced into bankruptcy by the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court.

During the summer this year Dagens Bedste stopped paying many of its suppliers.

It made many of them – including Larsen Hotel and Inn Holidays, House of Hansen and electronics retailer DC Nordic – to stop accepting the vouchers, which customers had bought on Dagens Bedste. But the company continued to sell vouchers on its website.

The State Journal says that the bankruptcy petition already came on Friday. October 9, but it was all first Tuesday. October 13 that Dagens Bedste closed. The company’s other deal sites like and, are also shut down.
