Sales in the Swedish ICA stores rose by 3.1 percent in January 2016 compared with the corresponding month last year. Sales in like-for-like stores increased by 2.3 percent.
ICA’s hypermarket concept Maxi continues to gain market shares – mostly within ICA’s own group – with a 4.1 percent increase. Kvantum performed best like for like.

In January 2016, sales in the Swedish ICA stores totalled SEK 8,677 million excluding VAT. At 31 January 2016, the number of ICA stores in Sweden was 1,302.
