JC targets international expansion with denim

JC has had a turbulent time internally.
One year after RNB’s sale to Chinese owner Denim Island several key people have left the chain and owner Gordon Wu has been forced to inject capital.
But now raises the bar and CEO Thomas Behring is aiming for international expansion.

“Gordon has partially bought JC because there is a huge denim expertise in the chain that he wants to build on and he possesses the resources for product development and production, ” says Thomas Behring who sees great opportunities and do not recognize a number of conflicts that former executives testified about.
Today JC is found in Sweden and Finland – but the chain will be rolled out in more countries and with a range that will have a greater focus on the denim fashion and brands.
“Our owners are very long term, both here and beyond Sweden’s borders,” said Thomas Behring to Dagens Industri.
