Stockmann invites social media to future workshops

Stockmann is planning for the extension of the Tapiola-store.

At the same time, the department store chain invites social media to workshops about the future of Stockmann’s store experience.

The renewable construction work at Stockmann’s department store in Tapiola is in full swing.

The department store will be completed in March 2017 as part of the shopping center project. The extension of the total  area is about 20 000 square meters, and about a little more than half will be for the Stockmann department store.

The department store concept is designed by German design firm Blocher & Blocher, who also responded to the Helsinki city center department store’s women’s footwear department reform.

”Social media channels have opened up a debate in which we ask for opinions and ideas about the future development of the department store experience and strategic priorities. Consultation and the progress of the project will be open to follow by the tag #uuttastockaa. We invite active chatters sometime during the spring to organized workshops around themes the department store experience, food, and home, fashion and beauty.” writes Stockmann.
