The Danish telecom giant TDC has decided to gather its private market under the YouSee brand.
This means 50 stores will change signs and concept.
“The decision to merge the brands in the private market and simplify our commercial business, enabling us to simplify our business and the way we work considerably. It will make it easier to be a customer, reduce costs and make it easier for our employees to do a good job, “says CEO Pernille Erenbjerg.
TDC today launched a new strategy for the next three years to provide customers with better connections, better solutions and better customer experiences.
TDC Group is in the European frontline in all its four areas: fixed telephony, mobile telephony, Internet connections and TV. But the last months the stock value has decreased significantly.
The re-branding of the retail stores is confirmed by the press office, but is a small part of the whole investment in internet, cable and consumer services.
“We are opening a highway for digital entertainment services, where only the imagination and not the speed sets limits. Already by the end of 2017, half of all Danish households will have access to 1 Gbit speed – 10 times faster than the policy objective for 2020, “says Pernille Erenbjerg, which also points to the strengths of the company’s 4G mobile network, which today is one of the world’s best.
“We will give our customers the best and most relevant products and solutions we have on the shelf that meet their needs and make their lives easier. And of course we will continue to develop solutions, now on one unified platform,”says Pernille Erenbjerg and elaborates that TDC will continue as a strong brand for its business customers.
The 50 Danish TDC-stores will start to become YouSee from 1 July. They already sell both TDC and YouSee products and will go on selling the same products.
”Cut to the bone is mobile, broadband and TV. And it is the same three basic products, we are going to offer,” press officer Rasmus Avnskjold tells detailfolk.dk
